Tapping Feathers, Making Sound

I am currently taking a course called "Digital Foundations" at Teachers College, Columbia University. Our first assignment of the semester is meant to give our instructor a sense of our current skills with creative applications of technology. This week we were asked to pick at least one item from each of the following three lists, and combine them into an interactive art piece or object. It was also important for our piece to be responsive or engaging.

I chose to use tapping, feathers, and sound. Movement also plays a role!

I decided to use scratch because it is simple, fun, and easy to share and interact with. I designed the game to allow users to tap the feathers and hear a variety of sounds. I made it so that the feathers bounce off of the edge of the border so that they do not disappear. I also wanted the feathers to create clones of themselves to create a fun screen-filling visual effect.

This is what the final product ended up looking like but I think it is best experienced on Scratch at this link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/633796107

Here is the code that I added to each of the feathers.
